Cops: 4 Rescued from Sinking Boat Off East Rockaway Inlet
Nassau, New York Police responding to rescue offshore, cops confirm.
Four people were rescued from a sinking tugboat off the Rockaway Inlet Wednesday afternoon, Nassau County Police confirmed.
Officials said that NYPD and Nassau County Police marine units were called to a sinking tugboat about three miles off the Rockaway Inlet.
Four people were rescued from the sinking vessel, cops said.

The rescue began after 4 p.m. Wednesday, reports stated.
