Cops: Inmate Found Dead in Jail Cell

Man serving time for petit larceny found unresponsive at Nassau County Correctional Center.

Cops are investigating the death of an inmate found unresponsive in his jail cell at the Nassau County Correctional Center Monday.

Kevin Brown, 47, of Far Rockaway, was found unresponsive in his cell early Monday morning, according to Nassau County Police. Emergency responders confirmed Brown’s death at 6:55 a.m.

Brown was serving a sentence for petit larceny at the time of his death, police said.

No criminality is suspected in his death at this time, cops said. The official cause of death will be confirmed after a Medical Examiner’s investigation.

There's never criminality when someone dies in custody, that would be fascism
