Cops Investigate Attempted Bank Robbery in Roslyn Heights

Police seek public's help.

Nassau detectives are investigating an attempted robbery at a bank in Roslyn Heights.

Police said a 5-foot-seven-inch man, approximately 20 years old, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, light blue pants and construction boots, entered a TD Bank at 111 Mineola Avenue and gave a robbery note to a teller.

Seconds later, he took back the note and fled on foot, heading north on Mineola Avenue. There were no proceeds or injuries reported.

There were five employees and one customer inside the bank at the time of the attempted robbery.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.

The cops would have been sooner but they were all getting massages trying to crack a big sex ring.

Clearly, he had second thoughts. With the new gun laws, he decided not to pull his weapon. Instead, he decided to sell it out of state. Proof that these restrictions work at reducing crime!
