Nassau County Police are seeking the public's help in identifying burglars who broke into a nearby country club and damaged several golf carts.
At 5:50 a.m. Saturday, a garage door was pried open at Middle Bay Country Club, cops said. Once inside, the burglars took golf carts out and rode them around the golf course, slamming into fences and railings. The joyride resulted in $75,000 in damages.
Detectives are continuing the investigation and are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
