Cops: Lynbrook Barber Shop Owner Exposed Himself to Teen

Girl snapped photo of suspect's license plate before reporting him to school officials, cops said.

Correction: The subject is from Flushing, not Lynbrook as previously stated, according to the Lynbrook Police Department.

A Flushing man was arrested Friday after he allegedly exposed himself to a 16-year-old girl in Valley Stream, cops said.

According to police, David K. Aronov, 21, who operates Dave's Barber Shop in Lynbrook, parked his Nissan Maxima on Fletcher Avenue on Thursday and Friday around 8:20 p.m.

He sat in the driver's seat and performed a sexual act and exposed himself to a 16-year-old girl, cops said. She walked past the vehicle, took a picture of the license plate and told school officials. Police responded to the scene shortly thereafter.

Aronov was located a couple of blocks away, and he was arrested without incident, police added. He's charged with two counts of public lewdness and was arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Hempstead.
