Cops: Malverne Resident's Identity Stolen, Subject Still At-Large

Cops seeking help to ID identity thief.

Nassau County Police are seeking the public's help in identifying an identity thief.

Cops released a surveillance photo of a subject they say stole a Malverne resident's personal information. The unknown subject used the stolen information to take more than $3,000 out of the victim's bank account.

The thefts were made Feb. 4 at locations in Brooklyn, Queens, and New York City.

Police are asking anyone with information about these incidents to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
