Cops: Man Deposited Fake Checks in Lynbrook
Police continue search for man who used checks to steal from victim.
Nassau County Police released surveillance photos Tuesday of a man believed to have deposited fake checks into a bank account.
Cops said the man pictured above fraudulently deposited two checks into TD Bank in Lynbrook. The checks totaled $1,601 and were draw from the victim's Human First bank account, police said.
Detectives said the incident happened Feb. 6 at 6:42 p.m.

Cops are asking anyone with information about the grand larceny or know the subject to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
