Cops: Man Robbed of Cash, iPhone in West Hempstead

The victim was allegedly robbed in the parking lot of a bar on Hempstead Turnpike.

A man was robbed of cash and a cell phone in the parking lot of a West Hempstead bar, Nassau County Police stated.

According to Fifth Squad detectives, the 41-year-old victim was in the parking lot of Bar on Hempstead Turnpike when three unknown Hispanic male subjects approached him with a knife and took approximately $80 and an  iPhone.

The subjects were last observed walking westbound on Hempstead turnpike. There were no injuries reported.

The subject with the knife was described to be approximately 30 years old, 5’ 8” tall, with black colored hair, wearing beige colored cargo shorts a black colored shirt. The second subject was described to be approximately 30 years old, 5’ 5” tall, wearing blue colored jeans and a light colored shirt. The third subject was described to be approximately 30 years old wearing blue colored jeans and white sneakers.
