Cops: Man Who Used Forged Prescription Found with 'Molly'

Man charged with using forged prescription; during arrest, was found in possession of methamphetamine.

A man faces charges after Nassau County Police said he tried to get meds from a West Hempstead pharmacy using a forged prescription.

Trevor Lawry, 28, of Hempstead, went into Rite Aid in West Hempstead in October and presented a forged prescription to an employee, cops said.

Lawry was arrested at Nassau Boulevard and Hawthorne Street and was found with two baggies of methamphetamine.

Lawry was charged with second-degree possession of a forged instrument and criminal possession of a controlled substance. He will be arraigned Tuesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
