Nassau County Police released surveillance pictures of a man they said stole cash and phones from a nearby mobile phone store.

Cops said an employee arrived to work at Metro PCS on Dutch Broadway in Elmont and found the front door unlocked. He went inside and found that cash was stolen from the register and an assortment of cellphones were taken, police said.

Video surveillance showed a man inside the store at 3:50 a.m. on May 20.

Cops described the subject as a black man in his mid-twenties and was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with the word "Yokosuka" on the back.

Detectives are asking anyone who may know the subject to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
