Cops Searching for Lynbrook Dog Thief

Nassau County Police, in conjunction with the Lynbrook Police Department, are seeking the community's help in catching the man who allegedly stole a dog from Shake-A-Paw in September.

On Sept. 29 at 5:45 p.m., the pictured subject was seen at Shake-A-Paw at 1 Atlantic Ave. in Lynbrook. He allegedly stole a white/cream colored Maltese Poodle valued at $995 and excited the store without paying.

He then fled in an unknown direction, cops said.

Crime Stoppers is asking anyone with information on the incident to call their toll free hotline at 1800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
