Cops Seek Info in Armed Robbery of West Hempstead Gulf

Nassau County Police ask for public's help in identifying subject in gas station robbery.

Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department are seeking the public’s help in identifying the above pictured subject wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred in West Hempstead.

According to police, on May 27 at approximately 3 a.m., the above pictured subject allegedly entered the Gulf gas station located at 700 Nassau Boulevard.

Cops say the subject pointed a silver handgun at the gas station worker, demanded money, but then fled the scene without any cash.

He is described as a black male, 6’5” tall, with a stocky build and wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, white T-shirt, blue jeans, black boots and a dark ski mask.

Crime Stoppers is asking anyone who knows the identity of the subject or with any information about this crime to call its toll free hotline:1-800-244-TIPS (8477). All calls will be kept confidential. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.
