Cops: Trio Beat, Robbed Dominos' Delivery Man

Dominos' Pizza delivery man punched, shoved during delivery, cops said.

A pizza delivery man was punched and robbed while making a delivery in Lakeview, according to Nassau County Police.

Cops said the Dominos' Pizza employee was on Woodfield Road at 11:20 p.m. Thursday when he was approached by a man and woman. The delivery man handed over the pizza as a second man approached him from behind and punched him in the left side of the face, police said. The other man shoved the victim to the ground before all three fled west on Pinebrook Avenue.

The 23-year-old delivery man was not hurt in the robbery.

The first subject was described as a black man, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 20-22 years old, and was wearing a black shirt, black shorts, and a black backpack. The second subject was described as a black man, 6 feet tall, and was 20-22 years old. The third was described as a black woman, 5 feet 2 inches tall, 18-20 years old, and was wearing a white shirt and black shorts.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
