That's an extremely hazardous section of Manetto Hill Rd. While lowering the speed limit is a great idea, there are many people who would still drive like maniacs! I see it all the time on Manetto Hill Rd, Old Country Rd, & just about everywhere else I go on Long Island. I hope the injured people are doing better.....

Re Aggressive driving: a new low, car blowing their horn behind me because I made a full stop at a Stop sign.

@Simba, don’t expect the cops to do anything about it (speeding). Remember, they are upset and stopped writing tickets. Gotta love the fact that on the same day that story broke, Newsday has one of those advertisement stickers on the paper for a job opportunity with the NCPD - total package $202,400 per officer!!! Not sure why they are so upset???

Thor, Every morning 5:30am I am on the Northern Trpke heading to work, in the right lane driving 60-65mph and without fail I get tailgaters, brights flashing, or the finger. What gives ? Not a single cop, only when there is an accident.
