Crime Report (Arrests): Littering, Marijuana Possession

Arrests

May 7 — at 6:50 p.m. Shawn D. Doyley and Richard C. T. Fontan, 20, of Laurelton, and Mikhail A. Headcock, 22, of Jamaica, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument (four counts) on Sunrise Highway. According to police, the defendants attempted to purchase food at Quiznos, located at 2 Broadway, and when attempting to pay with a credit card which was declined the defendants left without paying. The defendants were found to be in possession of four credit cards which were re-coded with fraudulently obtained bank account information.

May 8 — at 4 p.m. Two Lynbrook 16-year-olds were arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.

May 8 — at 8:01 p.m. Kwame N. Lake, 20, of Hempstead, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Speeding and Failure to Signal on Sunrise Highway.

May 8 — at 11:20 p.m. Goody Egbuji, 20 of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, Improper Left Turn and Violation of Conditional License on Atlantic Avenue.

May 9 — at 11:05 a.m. Brian J. Dandy, 37, of Arverne, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Unregistered Motor Vehicle, Expired Inspection, No Insurance, Improper NYS Registration Plates and Unsafe Lane Change on Scranton Avenue.

May 9 — at 3:40 p.m. Martin L. Oliver, 50, of New York, NY, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Unregistered Motor Vehicle, Expired Inspection, No Insurance, Improper NYS Registration Plates and Failure to Signal Lane Change on Langdon Place.

May 9 — at 5:15 p.m. Robert D. Grogan Jr., 24, of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and No Seat Belt (Driver) on Concord Street.

May 10 — at 1:14 p.m. George A. Goode, 19, of Brentwood, was arrested and charged with Burglary and Assault for an incident which occurred at a residence on Atlantic Avenue. The defendant was arrested while walking e/b on Merrick Road.

May 11 — at 7:54 p.m. Gerard M. Cozzi, 49, of Cambria Heights, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, Driving While Intoxicated, No Seat Belt (Driver) and No Front NYS Registration Plate on Merrick Road.

May 12 — at 6:22 a.m. Christopher M. Costanza, 20, of Seaford, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property (warrant) on Sunrise Highway.

May 12 — at 11:10 p.m. Catarino E. Coreas, 23, of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with Littering (warrant) on E. Mineola Avenue.
