Petit Larceny — On May 17 at 9:05 a.m., a complainant reported that an unknown person(s) removed four steel CO2 tanks from their place of employment on Broadway. The tanks are valued at $1,000.

Leaving the Scene of an Incident — On May 19 at 8:41 a.m., a complainant reported that while driving east on Sunrise Highway and stopped at a red traffic light at Broadway, their vehicle was struck by a Dodge Charger. The driver of the Dodge Charger then pulled over to the curb, but before the complainant could also pull over, the driver left the scene without making their identity known. The Dodge Charger was located several blocks away abandoned and was impounded.

Criminal Mischief — On May 19 at 11:10 a.m. a complainant reported that an unknown person(s) broke the rear window of their 2012 Honda while it was parked in a driveway on Charles St. The window is valued at $200.00 dollars.

Forgery — On May 19 at 7:30 a.m. a complainant, the owner of Xtreme Service Laundry located at 441 Merrick Road, reported that an unknown person(s) placed eight counterfeit $20 bills in the coin changer machine. The bills were forwarded to the US Secret Service for investigation.
