Arrests

  • On Feb. 28 at 9:00pm Melvin R. White, 55, of Roosevelt, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operation and failure to signal on Atlantic Ave.
  • On March 5 at 11:10pm Adrian Rivera, 57, of Valley Stream, NY was arrested and charged with DWI and aggravated unlicensed operation on Merrick Road.

Case Reports

  • Lost Property – At 9:55am on March 1, the complainant reports that their N.Y.S. handicapped permit was lost in the vicinity of their residence on Linda Court.
  • Lost Property – At 10:15am on March 1, the complainant reports that their N.Y.S. Driver’s License and Social Security card was lost in the vicinity of CVS at 633 Merrick Road.
  • Petty Larceny – At 4:00pm on March 1, the complainant reports that an unknown person(s) removed a Toshiba laptop computer from their front door after it was delivered by UPS. The value of the computer is $800. The complainant resides on Whitehall Street.
  • Grand Larceny/Identity Theft - At 8:00pm on March 1, the complainant reports that an unknown person(s) used their Chase Visa Debit card to make charges of $241.88.
