Crime Report: Menacing Arrest, Alcohol and Tobacco Sold to Minors

The following information was supplied by the Lynbrook Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation.

Arrests

  • On Aug. 8 at 8:09 p.m. Bruce Elder, 47, of Inwood, was arrested and charged with menacing in the third degree after an incident that occurred on Starks Place in Lynbrook.
  • On Aug. 12 at 2:05 p.m. Nasreen Yousuf, 44, of Hewlett was arrested and charged with unlawful dealing with a child for selling tobacco products to a minor, which had occurred at the located at 188 Hempstead Ave. in Lynbrook.
  • On Aug. 12 at 3:05 a.m. Jean Jean-Bart, 27, of Elmont, Christopher Whitfield, 23, of Jamaica, Cory Johnson, 25, of the Bronx, and Christopher Young, 22, of Queens, Village and another were apprehended by the Lynbrook Police Department and were arrested and charged with robbery and assault which had occurred in Island Park.   • On Aug. 13 at 3 a.m., Lauren Buckley, 18, and Emily Buckley, 18, both of Lynbrook, were arrested charged with unlawful dealing with a child for providing alcohol to minors at a residence in Lynbrook.
