On March 30 at 7:55pm, Devin D. Hodges, 21 of Brooklyn, NY was arrested and charged with robbery (2 counts) on Ave M in Brooklyn. Hodges was arrested in connection with the T-Mobile robbery, in which three men allegedly stole more than $30,000 worth of communications equipment and additional cash.

On April 8 at 12:08am, Gregory Germain, 51, of Brooklyn, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to obey traffic control device, insufficient brake lights and circumvention of interlock device on Sunrise Hwy.

On April 9 at 11:26pm, Kevin Ramirez, 20, of Garden City Park, NY was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on Sunrise Hwy.

Case Reports

Petty Larceny – At 4:55pm on April 2, the complainant, the manager of located at 400 Sunrise Hwy., reported that two males entered the store and started to remove merchandise from the shelves and place it inside their jackets. One of the males when stopped by the manager dropped all of his items and left the store in an unknown direction. The second male then left the store in an unknown direction. The second male removed $322.89  worth of merchandise from the store. The males were described as dark skinned, wearing dark colored hoodies.

Lost Property – At 2:25pm on April 3, the complainant reports that their NYS Boat Registration Plate was lost in the vicinity of 196 Merrick Rd.

Lost Property – At 2:55pm on April 3, the complainant reports that their NYS Handicapped Parking Permit was lost in the vicinity of Sunrise Hwy and Horton Ave.

Attempted Identity Theft - At 11:00am on April 5, the complainant reports that an unknown person(s) filed a tax return with the IRS and New York State in their name attempting to receive their tax refund.
