Crime Watch: Burglaries at West Hempstead Domino's, Lakeview Home

See what crimes were committed this week in Malverne, West Hempstead, Lakeview and surrounding areas.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

BURGLARIES

A home on N. Conventry Road in Lakeview was burglarized on Jan. 11.

On Jan. 12, a Garden City South home located on 7th Street was burglarized.

The located on Poplar Street in West Hempstead was burglarized on Jan. 16.

Two Valley Stream businesses - Amici Gourmet Deli on Rockaway Parkway and Shana Convenience Store on West Merrick Road - were burglarized between Jan. 14 and Jan. 16.

On Jan. 15, a burglary occurred at Bagel Talk on Hempstead Turnpike in Elmont.

GRAND LARCENIES

A car parked in the driveway of a home on Fenwood Drive in North Valley Stream was stolen on Jan. 10. Another was taken from a driveway on Essex Road in Elmont between Jan. 8 and Jan. 10.

Tires and rims were stolen on Jan. 12 off of a vehicle parked in the driveway of an Elmont home located on Renfrew Avenue.

LARCENIES/ OTHER THEFTS

A GPS was stolen from a vehicle parked on Lewis Street in West Hempstead between Jan. 10 and Jan. 11.

A gas dryer that had been left in the driveway of a Valley Stream home located on Amherst Road was stolen on Jan. 10. The victim returned home to find it was missing.

Between Jan. 9 and Jan. 10, a victim in Elmont reported that property went missing from his unlocked vehicle while parked on Sterling Road.

FIRE

A vehicle fire was reported on Jan. 14 by a victim on Norbay Street in Franklin Square.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

A Lakeview woman living on Ontario Road reported on Jan. 12 that an unknown person threw an object at one of the windows of her home, causing it to break.

A complaintant reported on Jan. 10 that he observed blue graffiti on park equipment and dumping at a playground site located at the intersection of Woodland Road and Ash Lane in Valley Stream.

On Jan. 14, man in Franklin Square reported that an unknown person or persons caused damage to his PVC fence located on 2nd Avenue by kicking in two boards.
