Delivery Man Robbed in Lakeview

Cops search for perpetrators who robbed Chinese food delivery man.

A Chinese food delivery man was robbed shortly after midnight on Friday in Lakeview by three unidentified perpetrators who are still on the loose, police say.

The 27-year-old victim was delivering an order to a home on Clinton Avenue around 12:30 a.m. on June 24, where he was met by an unknown black male subject, according to Nassau County Police.

As the delivery man exited his vehicle, he was approached from behind by two additional unknown male black subjects who allegedly threatened to use a weapon, cops say. They then went through the victim’s pockets, removing an unknown amount of cash, a wallet and cell phone - and they took the food order too. The three man reportedly fled the scene on foot, heading south through a backyard. Police say no injures were reported.
