Two teens sustained gunshot wounds early Thursday morning in Lakeview when bullets were fired from a vehicle.
Nassau County Police are investigating the assault, which occurred around 1 a.m. on July 5. Detectives say the two male victims, ages 19 and 18, were outside a residence on Jefferson Avenue when an unknown black SUV-type vehicle pulled up and began shooting. The 19 year old sustained a gunshot wound to his left leg and the 18 year old was wounded in the right thigh. The vehicle fled in an unknown direction.
Both victims were removed to a local hospital,where they were treated and released. There is no further description of the vehicle.
