Driver Falls Asleep, Hits Parked Car in West Hempstead

Woman injured after plowing into parked car on Nassau Boulevard Saturday.

The female driver of a small sedan was slightly injured early Saturday morning after she fell asleep at the wheel and plowed into a parked car on Nassau Boulevard in West Hempstead.

The accident occurred in front of near Johnson Lane.
Lakeview firefighters along with Nassau County Police and EMS arrived quickly at the scene to assist the injured driver.
