SUV Smashes Into Parked Car on Woodfield Road
Nassau County Police and Lakeview firefighters rescue women trapped in her vehicle after crash in West Hempstead.
A woman was injured in West Hempstead Saturday morning when she drove her car into a parked vehicle.
The accident occurred on Woodfield Road Near Maple Street on Nov. 12. Witnesses at the scene said the black SUV was travelling southbound when it violently smashed into a parked car on the west side of the street, overturned and then came to a rest on its roof.
The driver was trapped in her vehicle until Nassau County Police and Lakeview firefighters arrived on the scene and were able to free her. A third vehicle, also parked, sustained serious damage.

The injured woman was transported by Nassau County EMS ambulance to an area hospital.
