East Rockaway Fire Department Honors Memory of Captain Robert Pryor

Hempstead Town Senior Councilman Anthony J. Santino and Town Clerk Nasrin Ahmad recently paid their respects as the East Rockaway Fire Department honored the memory of Captain Robert Pryor, the only Fire Department member to to be killed while in the line of Duty on October 11, 1970. 

This took place at the East Rockaway Fire Department Memorial Service held at the East Rockaway Fire Department Memorial. Captain Pryor was a member of Liberty Hose Company #2.   

Pictured are East Rockaway Village Mayor Fran Lenahan, East Rockaway Village Deputy Mayor Bruno Romano, East Rockaway Village Trustee Edward Corrado, East Rockaway Village Trustee Stanley Lombardo, East Rockaway Village Trustee Theresa Gaffney and her husband, John Gaffney, and Nassau County Legislator Howard Kopel.
