The total number of West Hempstead spa workers arrested this month jumped to eight Wednesday as police charged two more women with practicing unlicensed massage and prostitution.
An undercover operation conducted by Nassau County Police's Narcotics/Vice Bureau led to the arrests of Shanhua Cui, 21, and Li Wang, 44, both of Flushing. Both women were taken into custody without incident on Jan. 23 at 3:15 p.m. at the Royal Day Spa, located at 300 Hempstead Turnpike, Suite 210, in West Hempstead.
According to detectives, the undercover operation determined that while working at the spa, Cui and Wang practices massage therapy without a license.
Cui also allegedly offered to engage in a sexual act for an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

Both women are being charged with unauthorized practice. Cui is additionally charged with prostitution. They will be arraigned on Thursday at First District Court in Hempstead.
Earlier this month, cops arrested four other female employees of the Royal Day Spa. Flushing residents on Jan. 2 and charged with unauthorized practice and prostitution.
On Jan. 10, two more employees of the same spa -- Xia Mei Liu, 46, and Dong J Liu, 45, -- who are also both from Flushing, were arrested and charged with unauthorized practice. Dong Liu was also charged with prostitution after she allegedly offered to perform a sex act in exchange for money.
Two more Flushing women -- who were working as massage therapists at the nearby Shunyuan Spa Inc., located at 357 Hempstead Turnpike, Suite 203, in West Hempstead -- were arrested last Tuesday.
Both Yan Hua Deng, 48, and Sujuan Wu, 52, were charged with practicing unlicensed massage. Yan Hua Deng was also charged with prostitution after she allegedly offered to engage in a sexual act for an undisclosed amount of money, according to detectives.
