A Lakeview man was arrested early Wednesday morning after allegedly firing multiple rounds from a shotgun outside of his residence.
According to police, around 12:20 a.m., Fifth Precinct police officers responded to Clinton Avenue for the report of shots fired.
An investigation revealed that the defendant, Sammie Spencer, 64, fired two rounds from a shotgun into the air outside of the residence, police said. No injuries were reported.
Spencer was taken into custody and a 12 gauge shotgun was recovered at the scene.
Spencer was charged with reckless endangerment in the second degree. He will be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Wednesday.
The arrest information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
