Crime Report: Stolen Laptop, DWI Arrests in Lynbrook

Village police release weekly crime report.

The following is the weekly crime report submitted by the Lynbrook Police Department. Incidents have taken place between Oct. 19 and Oct. 26. All information courtesy of the Lynbrook Police.

Arrests

  • On Oct. 20 at 8:25 p.m., Michael Borchick, 25, of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with a Criminal Contempt of a Court order.
  • A Queens man was arrested and charged with DWI on Oct. 19. Details here.
  • Two men were arrested for stealing a 2010 Infinity G37 from the Infiniti dealership on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook on Oct. 23. Details here.
  • On Oct. 23 at 11:10 p.m., Michael Cino, 22, Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with Reckless Endangerment, Criminal Tampering, and Obstructing Government Administration.
  • On Oct. 23 at 11:45 p.m., Miguel Palma, 31, of Hempstead, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
  • On Oct. 23 at 6:13 p.m., Peter Vitucci, 43, of Howard Beach, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle.

Case Reports

  • On Oct. 21 at 9:10 p.m., McDonald's on Merrick Road in Lynbrook was robbed. Details here.
  • On Oct. 23, between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 5:45 p.m., a laptop computer - valued at $300 - was reported stolen from a 2002 Lincoln parked at 324 Scranton Avenue.
