Patch learned Saturday morning that Lecuit suffered a skull fracture and was listed in critical condition with more surgeries to follow.

According to an article published in the Herald in August 2012, Lecuit has been cutting hair at the barber shop his father, Eddie, opened up 63 years ago, since 1954, shortly after he graduated from Lynbrook High School. He and his wife, Betty, also a Lynbrook alum, live in Lindenhurst, where they raised their three kids.
