Lynbrook Crime Report: Assault and Harassment Arrest

The following information was supplied by the Lynbrook Police Department. A criminal charge is an accusation, and does not indicate a conviction.

Arrests

- On Jan. 13 at 11:20pm Gamal O. Armoogan 30, of Westbury, NY was arrested and charged with two counts aggravated unlicensed operation and equipment violation on Merrick Road.

- On Jan. 14 at 3:20pm Huzaifa Shafeeq 19, of Valley Stream, NY was arrested and charged with petty larceny and criminal possession of stolen property on Fairfax Street in Valley Stream.

- On Jan. 15 at 5:00pm Daniel C. Roger 37, of Baldwin, NY was arrested and charged with assault and harassment for an incident that occurred at Mary MacNamara’s located at 44 Stauderman Ave. on Jan. 11. 

- On Jan. 16 at 3:40pm Patrick A. Elias 50, of Jamaica, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed Operation and failure to signal on Merrick Rd.

- On Jan. 17 at 12:50am Jean M. Benoit 27, of Brooklyn, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to signal, improper plates, unregistered motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle and uninspected motor vehicle on Sunrise Hwy.

- On Jan. 18 at 3:52pm Nicholas J. Boomhower 35, of Canton, MA was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and equipment violation on Peninsula Blvd.

- On Jan. 19 at 1:36pm Jairo J. Benitez 29, of Copiague, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, uninspected motor vehicle and uninsured motor vehicle on Sunrise Hwy.

- On Jan. 20 at 1:00am Shawn Reid 23, of Rosedale, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and unlicensed operation in the parking area of the Capri Motor Inn located at 5 Freer St.

- On Jan. 20 at 4:45am Robert D. Connor 28, of Far Rockaway, NY was arrested and charged with two counts aggravated unlicensed operation and improper U-Turn on Ocean Ave.
