Lynbrook Crime Report: Man in Possession of Loaded Firearm, Unauthorized Massage Arrest

The following information was supplied by the Lynbrook Police Department. A criminal charge is an accusation, and does not indicate a conviction.

Arrests

- On Nov. 5 at 5:00am, Arthur B. Clark 43, of Yonkers, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and uninspected motor vehicle on Peninsula Blvd. The defendant was also found to have three open warrants for aggravated unlicensed operation and 11 other assorted vehicle and traffic violations. 

- On Nov. 5 at 7:30pm, Denis Rodriguez 23, of Freeport, was arrested and charged with criminal contempt and criminal tampering for an incident that occurred on St. James Place.  

- On Nov. 9 at 1:29pm Alvin Lee Moore 61, of Freeport, NY was arrested and charged with petty larceny for an incident that occurred at AAMCO, located at 601 Merrick Rd.   

- On Nov. 10 at 3:59pm Ihsan E. Purvey 31, of Queens Village, NY was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon on Peninsula Blvd. The defendant was in possession of a loaded firearm. 

- On Nov. 10 at 9:20pm. Christopher M. Quinn 40, of Lynbrook, NY was arrested and charged with criminal mischief and menacing for an incident that occurred on Vincent Ave. 

- On Nov. 11 at 8:20pm Liu Hongwen 46, of Elmhurst, NY was arrested and charged with unauthorized practice of massage at 244 Merrick Rd. 

- On Nov. 12 at 5:26am German C. Depena 48, of Rockville Centre, NY was arrested and charged with criminal possession of stolen property, aggravated unlicensed operation, unregistered motor vehicle, improper registration plates and uninsured motor vehicle on Harding Ave. The defendant was also found to have an open warrant for aggravated unlicensed operation.

- On Nov. 12 at 9:06pm Derrick T. Beverly 46, of Rockville Centre, NY was arrested and charged with criminal impersonation, aggravated unlicensed operation and suspended registration at Lynbrook Police Department Headquarters.

Case Reports

Criminal Mischief - At 12:41am on Nov. 3 the complainant reports that an unknown person(s) damaged their PVC fence which is located on Leroy Place. The fence is valued at $150.

Criminal Mischief - At 3:40pm on Nov. 7, the complainant reports damage to an interior door to a residence locate on Pearsall Ave. The door is valued at $350.

Criminal Mischief - At 1:20pm on Nov. 10, the complainant reports that an unknown person(s) damaged their 2003 Nissan by slashing the two rear tires, while it was parked at their residence on Rolling Street. The tires are valued at $284.
