Lynbrook Junior Fire Department Honored by the Town of Hempstead

The members were honored at Countywide Junior Department Parade and Drill at the February meeting.

 

Town of Hempstead Supervisor Kate Murray, Senior Councilman Anthony J. Santino, and Councilman James Darcy recently lauded members of the Lynbrook Junior Fire Department at a Town Board Meeting for winning recognition as the in Nassau County.

This was the sixth time in the last nine years that Lynbrook has won the award. The four-foot high trophy was awarded by the Nassau County's Drill Team Captain's Association at their annual dinner, held this year at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Oceanside, on Dec. 3, 2011.
