Lynbrook Man Arrested for Stalking, Harassment Incidents at Church

Man allegedly threatened a priest at Our Lady of Peace Church.

The Nassau County Fifth Precinct arrested a Lynbrook man on Thursday after he allegedly stalked and harassed priests and parishioners at Our Lady of Peace Church at 25 Fowler Ave. in Lynbrook.

According to Nassau County detectives, on June 24, Victor Tosner, 57, called Our Lady of Peace Church and demanded to speak to a priest whom he had threatened in the past. Tosner later arrived at the parish and handed a 54-year-old female victim a greeting card containing a threatening message.

The following day, Tosner again went to the parish and prevented a female victim from entering her vehicle, police said. Later that same afternoon, Tosner called a female parishioner and threatened one of the parish’s priests.
