A Lynbrook man struck by a 2003 Ford Explorer on Peninsula Blvd. in Lynbrook on New Years Day was seriously injured and is recovering at South Nassau Hospital.
Lynbrook police said that the 42-year-old man was hit by the Ford Explorer on Peninsula between Earle Ave. and Vincent Ave, on Sunday, Jan. 1.
The Ford was being driven by a 56-year-old man from East Meadow. Police said the driver remained at the scene and it is being ruled an accident.
