Lynbrook PD: $38K Car Stolen from Dealer Lot

Arrests

  • On July 22 at 6:40 p.m., Tamer F. Altinerlielmas, 35, of Massapequa, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation (warrant) on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.

  • On July 25 at 8:10 a.m., Juan D. Miguitama, 26, of Brooklyn, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, circumvention of interlock device and uninsured motor vehicle on Peninsula Boulevard in Lynbrook.

  • On July 27 at 6:58 a.m., Bouvier A. Wilson, 37, of Jamaica, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of stolen property, failure to signal, unlicensed operation, suspended registration, uninsured motor vehicle and uninspected motor vehicle on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.

  • On July 28 at 9:53 a.m., Stephen T. Lavenda, 49, of Freeport, was arrested and charged with two open warrants for trespass and MTA Rules and Regulations Code for interfering with commercial activity on Stauderman Avenue in Lynbrook.

  • Case Reports

    • Grand Larceny: At 4 p.m. on July 22, the controller of Legacy Infiniti, located at 855 Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook, reported that one of their loaner vehicles -- a 2012 Infiniti G37 -- was missing from their lot. The value of the vehicle is $ 38,366.

    • Petit Larceny: At 1:16 p.m. on July 23, the accounting manager with Life Watch USA, located at 266 Merrick Road in Lynbrook, reported that an unknown person made two unauthorized charges on their American Express Credit Card account. The total amount of the charges is $462.36.

  • Criminal Mischief: At 5:28 p.m. on July 25, the complainant reported that an unknown person(s) damaged the front tire of their bicycle, which was in their garage located on Ocean Avenue in Lynbrook. The total amount of the damage is $7.

  • Found Property: At 9 a.m. on July 26, the complainant reported finding a 17-inch boys bicycle on the side of their house on Sherman Street in Lynbrook. The value of the bicycle is unknown.

  • Found Property: At 11:20 a.m. on July 26, the complainant reported finding a 20-inch boys bicycle on the side of their house on Rocklyn Avenue in Lynbrook. The value of the bicycle is unknown.
