Lynbrook PD: Locals Arrested on Drug Charges

A weekly rundown of arrests and case reports from the Lynbrook Police Department.

The following information was supplied by the Lynbrook Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate guilt.

Arrests

  • On July 7 at 10:48 p.m., Emilie Kaminez, 27, of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.
  • On July 7 at 10:48 p.m. Victor Rivas-Morales, 26, of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.
  • On July 7 at 10:48 p.m., Anthony Tellier Sr., 49, of East Rockaway, NY was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.
  • On July 8 at 6:05 p.m., Paul J. Wentz, 50, of Cedarhurst, was arrested and charged with DWI, unsafe lane change and failure to signal on Merrick Road in Lynbrook.
  • On July 9 at 2:10 p.m., Daniel H. Allen, 27, of Brooklyn, was arrested and charged with assault in front of 30-29 Quentin Road in Brooklyn.
  • On July 9 at 8:25 p.m., Frank A. Delarosa, 34, of Valley Stream, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, uninsured motor vehicle and equipment violation on Hendrickson Avenue in Lynbrook.
  • On July 11 at 4:35 a.m., Michael C. Morrow, 49, of Astoria, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.
  • On July 11 at 5:50 a.m., Mario H. Murillo, 37, of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with forcible touching and criminal possession of a controlled substance on Broadway in in Lynbrook.
  • On July 11 at 5:50 a.m., Stephan D. Seal, 23, of Valley Stream, was arrested and charged with forcible touching on Broadway in Lynbrook.
  • On July 11 at 10:45 p.m., Jack R. Montemurro, 65, of South Farmingdale, was arrested and charged with criminal contempt on Fallwood Parkway in South Farmingdale.
  • On July 14 at 1:32 a.m., Eunice E. Cordero, 31, of Providence, R.I., was arrested and charged with DWI and improper lane usage on Ocean Avenue in Lynbrook.
  • On July 14 at 10:28 a.m., Michael A. Maffettone, 28, of West Islip, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, suspended registration, uninspected motor vehicle and speeding on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.
  • On July 14 at 8:47 p.m., Harold Emmanuel, 57, of Malverne, was arrested and charged with obstructing governmental administration, disorderly conduct and exposure of a person at the Lynbrook Long Island Railroad Station.
  • On July 14 at 9:44 p.m., Wellesley Wright, 35, of Freeport, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, registration plate not properly displayed and unlicensed operation on Merrick Road in Lynbrook.

  • Grand Larceny: At 8 a.m. on July 9, the service manager of Crown Ford, located at 420 Merrick Road in Lynbrook, reported that between at 9:30 p.m. on July 8 and 7 a.m. on July 9, an unknown person(s) removed a 2013 Ford E250 Van from their parking area. The van was located in a parking lot in Valley Stream with a damaged ignition lock and without any tires and rims. The total amount of the loss is $4,000.
  • Lost Property: At 10:30 a.m. on July 9, a complainant reported that while westbound on Sunrise Highwy in Lynbrook, they noticed that their license plate was missing from the rear of their 2002 Suzuki motorcycle.
  • Criminal Impersonation: At 2:30 p.m. on July 10, a complainant reported that an unknown person(s) used their name, date of birth and identity when receiving two summonses while operating a motor vehicle in Lynbrook on July 21, 2012.
  • Attempted Identity Theft: At 5:45 p.m. on July 10, a complainant reported that an unknown person(s) changed the name and address on their Verizon wireless account. The complainant was notified by Verizon by text message of the change at which time the complainant notified Verizon that the change was unauthorized.
  • Unusual / Suspicious Incident- At 12:40pm on July 11 the complainant reports that an unknown person(s) did contact their 8 year old daughter, via the internet, while playing the video game “minecraft” on their Playstation game console. The subject, who was aware of the complainant’s daughter’s age, did leave inappropriate comments.
  • Aggravated Harassment: At 11:45 p.m. on July 11, a complainant reported that an unknown person(s) sent several threatening text messages to their cell phone. The messages have put the complainant in fear of their own and their family’s safety.
