Lynbrook PD: Prostitution Arrest at Merrick Road Spa

A weekly rundown of arrests and case reports from the Lynbrook Police Department.

The following information was supplied by the Lynbrook Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate guilt.

Arrests

  • On April 29 at 6:05 a.m., David A. Hulse, 47, of Franklin Square, was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operation and equipment violation on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.

  • On June 3 at 1:50 p.m., Qinsu Zhang, 47, of Flushing, was arrested and charged with unauthorized practice at 393 Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook. The defendant, while employed as a massage therapist, performed a massage without being licensed by the State of New York.

  • On June 3 at 2:37 p.m., Kevin A. Krapf, 37, of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with criminal mischief and menacing on Second Street in Lynbrook.

  • On June 3 at 10:45 p.m., Daniel S. Lewis, 21, of West Hempstead, was arrested and charged with a City of Long Beach open warrant for “On Beach After Hours” on Ocean Avenue in Lynbrook.

  • On June 4 at 2:40 p.m., Mehua Cui, 44, of Flushing, was arrested and charged with unauthorized practice and prostitution at 246 Merrick Road in Lynbrook. The defendant, while employed as a massage therapist at Kings Foot Spa, performed a massage without being licensed by the State of New York.

  • On June 5 at 4:40 p.m., Daniel Zeon Concha, 23, of Valley Stream, was arrested and charged with petit larceny on Bismark Avenue in Lynbrook.

  • On June 5 at 9:45 p.m., Walter R. Parker Jr., 27, of Westbury, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, unreasonable speed and fail to signal on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.

  • On June 6 at 2:25 p.m., Deonarine Jital, 34, of Richmond Hill, was arrested and charged with forgery, grand larceny and identity theft at 469 Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.

  • On June 9 at 12:57 p.m., Dashaun Beatty, 21, of Rosedale, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, tailgating, fail to signal and unsafe lane change on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.

  • On June 10 at 8:45 a.m., Rafael Antonio Gomez, 59, of Oceanside, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, circumvention of interlock device and improper U-turn on Merrick Road in Lynbrook. The defendant had a restriction on his license requiring any vehicle they operate have an ignition interlock device installed, which required that person to give a breath sample before the vehicle would start.

  • Case Reports

    • Petit Larceny: At 10:23 a.m. on May 26, a complainant reported that their N.Y.S. license plate was removed from their vehicle, which was parked in their driveway on Maple Ave in Lynbrook. The plate was taken between 1 a.m. and 10 a.m. on May 26.

  • Grand Larceny: At 11 a.m. on May 27, a complainant reported that four large glass jars containing assorted coins missing from their bedroom. The jars contained between $1,500.00 and $1,700.00 in coins. The jars were taken between May 13 and May 27.

  • Making Graffiti: At 9:20 p.m. on June 4, a complainant reported that an unknown person(s) sprayed paint graffiti on both sides of their 2003 Workhorse Step Van, which was parked in the private parking area of 630 Merrick Road in Lynbrook. The damage occurred between 8 a.m. on May 30 and 3 a.m. on May 31.

  • Criminal Mischief: At 8:50 a.m. on June 5, the manager of Avis Rent a Car, located at 55 Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook, reported that an unknown person(s) broke the front window. The value of the window was unknown at the time of report. The damaged occurred between 7 p.m. on June 4 and 7 a.m. on June 5.

  • Aggravated Harassment: At 4:52 p.m. on June 7, a complainant reported that they have been receiving harassing and threatening text messages on their cell phone.

  • Petit Larceny: At 1 a.m. on June 8, a complainant reported that an unknown person(s) removed their Asus Laptop computer from their girlfriend’s residence on Lyon Place in Lynbrook. The value of the laptop is $521.39.

  • Criminal Mischief: At 12:25 a.m. on June 10. a complainant reported that an unknown person(s) broke the rear passenger window of their 2011 Honda Pilot, which was parked in their driveway on Webster Street in Lynbrook. The value of the window is $250. The damaged occurred between 12 p.m. on June 9 and 12 a.m. on June 10.

  • Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle: At 2:13 p.m. on June 10, the security manager of Hertz Rent a Car, located at 56 Horton Ave. in Lynbrook, reported that a 2012 Nissan Sentra, rented on April 25, 2013, has not been returned.
