The Headline was specious. There was no arrest for prostitution.. instead, the defendant was arrested for an "open warrant for Prostitution."
There is no doubt that The Capri is the quintessential family resort. It allows affluent and discerning familys to take in all the beauty that Lynbrook has to offer. Prostitution at the Capri? Oh contrare. The only place that comes close in opulense is the Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills. The Patch has an obligation to the public by reporting accurate headlines. Prostitution and any other illegal activity would never occur at this iconic family resort. The Capri has set the bar for all inkeepers, not only nationally, but globally. May this great institution continue to provide an invaluable service to travelers worldwide.

It is symbolic of all that is great about Lynbrook. The Plaza and Waldorf do not begin to measure in grandness and greatness to the Lynbrook Capri.

While the headline is misleading as pointed out by Lorenzo, it seems that this is an all to frequent occurrence.....

That’s very nice that school districts that have the highest school taxes and costs, areRead More receiving additional money. The problem is that our state is in dire financial trouble and we can’t afford it. Upstate NY is a distressed disaster. How much more taxes are we going to pay?. Hear those feet marching out of state. Try fighting for drilling so we have jobs and revenue.

.......there they go again whitewashing a dilemma they don't want to touch......unconscionableRead More salaries and pensions paid by the taxpayer for incompetence? Not to mention 13 week vacations as well as numerous 1/2 days and weather shortened days. A $50000 band aid we end up paying indirectly anyway only increases taxes further down the road. They are either that stupid or they think we are!
