Case Reports

  • On May 17 at 5:50 p.m., a Lynbrook woman stated that she was walking her dog on Wicks Lane when she was approached by a light-skinned white male, approximately 19 years of age, driving a newer model dark gray, four-door sedan. The Malverne Police Department is investigating.
  • On May 24 at 10:19 p.m., Malverne Police responded to an alarm call at 326 Hempstead Ave. and observed the front door to the location unlocked and the audible alarm was still going off. An investigation conducted by the officers revealed that an unknown person entered the location and removed a plastic case containing 16 rolls of scratch off lottery tickets valued at $15,000.
