According to detectives, Antwan Brown, 24, was sitting in his car around 3:55a.m. in the parking lot of the food joint on Hempstead Turnpike, when he began arguing with a 24-year-old woman. Cops say he attempted to take her bag, which contained $2oo cash, and repeatedly struck her in the head and face before fleeing on foot. The victim suffered facial injuries and was treated at the scene. Police were able to track down Brown and bring him into custody, but while at the Fifth Precinct, he put up a fight.

Brown reportedly "resisted verbal directions continuously and struggled with officers."  One officer was even sent to a hospital to be treated for facial injuries he suffered from Brown, according to the police.
