Missing Lakeview Man Last Seen at West Hempstead CVS
Man suffers from onset of dementia, last seen on 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Nassau County Police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing Lakeview man who suffers from the onset of dementia, has high blood pressure and is diabetic.
Police said that John Griffith, 75, was last seen on Wednesday, 5:30 p.m. at the CVS in West Hempstead, located at 814 Hempstead Avenue.
Griffith was seen wearing a Jets baseball cap, a long sleeve black shirt, dark blue jeans and brown loafers. He is described by police as an African-American, 6'0" and 170 lbs. and he walks with a limp.
The Silver Alert Program disseminates immediate information to local media, hospitals and other organizations when a senior citizen or others with Alzheimer’s, dementia or other cognitive disorders go missing.
