NEARBY: OMC Gang Member Cops to Shooting of Informant

Story by Stephen J. Bronner

A member of the Bloods gang that lives in Old Mill Court in Rockville Centre, who in the past was acquitted of murder, has admitted to his role in the 2011 shooting of a police informant.

Carl Perryman pled guilty on Aug. 16 to two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon in-aid-of racketeering and one count of discharge of a firearm, according to Rockville Centre Police Commissioner C.A. Gennario. He faces a 25 to 30 year prison term at his sentencing on Dec. 20.

Perryman was arrested in February 2011 with Charles Sullins on federal charges of attempted murder.
