One Person Injured in Multi-Car Crash in Malverne

Malverne and Lakeview firefighters, and village and county police respond Monday.

One person was injured late Monday afternoon in an accident involving several vehicles.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Ocean Avenue and Wright Avenue. 
The Malverne and Lakeview Fire Departments, along Malverne village and  Nassau County police were all on the scene as the location was apparently incorrectly given as Woodfield Road and Pinebrook Avenue at first.

The injured person was transported by Nassau County ambulance to a nearby hospital.
