Dom's coffin was brought on Tally-Ho's rig to Our Lady Peace, where his fellow firefighters carried him into church for a Mass of Christian Burial. After church services the fire truck, escorted by New York State Police vehicles (who closed Southern State and Meadowbrook Parkways for the long funeral procession) carried him under three different fire department arches to his final resting place at Holy Rood. God Bless Dominick J. DeCarlo, Jr.
