Police Announce DWI Arrests Over Holiday Weekend

Forty-nine drivers, two boaters nabbed.

Acting Nassau County Police Commissioner Thomas C. Krumpter announced Tuesday the details of arrests made this past Fourth of July weekend.

Between the hours of 7 p.m. last Friday and 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Nassau police arrested 49 people for Driving While Intoxicated (D.W.I.) and two people for Boating While Intoxicated, according to Krumpter.
