A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing West Hempstead woman who police said needs medication.
Kathleen Cunningham, 24, was last at 46 4th Avenue in East Rockaway on Sunday, September 29 at 6 a.m. Her probable destination is Hempstead, police said. Cunningham is described as white non-hispanic, 5'3", 110 lbs., and has red hair and brown eyes.
Silver Alerts disseminate immediate information to local media, hospitals and other organizations when a senior citizen or other individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or other cognitive disorders goes missing, according to police.
