Robert Cribbin Elected Chairman of Nassau County Fire Commission

Cribbin is a longtime member of Tally-Ho Engine Co. 3 and Lynbrook's emergency management coordinator.

Lynbrook Fire Department Ex-Chief and Fourth Battalion Fire Commissioner Robert Cribbin was recently elected the chairman of the Nassau County Fire Commission, the highest position in the volunteer fire service.

Cribbin is a 30-year member of Lynbrook's Tally-Ho Engine Company 3. He began his firefighting career as a youngster and was one of the original founding members of the Lynbrook Junior Fire Department in 1978. Cribbin is also the Lynbrook's Emergency Management Coordinator.

On hand to congratulate Cribbin were Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano, Vice-Chairman and First Battalion Commissioner Richard Gardner (Ex-Chief, Garden City Fire Department), and Secretary and Third Battalion Commissioner Walter Weltner, Jr. (Ex-Chief, Valley Stream Fire Department). 

Grogan is an Ex-Captain of the Lynbrook Fire Department.
