Rosenblatt Re-Elected to Chair Auxiliary Police Board

Earns third term as head of Nassau County Auxiliary Police's Executive Board.

Inspector Neal Rosenblatt was re-elected this month to a third term as chairman of the Auxiliary Police's Executive Board.

Rosenblatt is commanding officer of the Nassau County Auxiliary Police's Fourth Precinct South Unit, which serves the former Fifth Precinct with the exception of the village of Valley Stream. The unit includes West Hempstead, Lakeview, Malverne Park, Malverne Oaks and North Lynbrook, as well as other surrounding communities.

The Executive Board, which oversees the daily operations of the Auxiliary Police Program in Nassau County in conjunction with the the Nassau County Police Department, held its elections on Jan. 3 at the Public Safety Center in Westbury.

Other members serving on the board for 2013 are Lt. Kevin Meller, of Syosset ( Vice Chairman); Inspector Joanne Edling, of Farmingdale, (Treasurer); Deputy Inspector Michael Bier, of Hicksville, (Secretary);  Lt. Raymond Montalvo, of South Hempstead, Inspector Michael Spae, of Mineola, Deputy Inspector Diane Laukaitus, of Lynbrook, Lt. Thomas Field, of Levittown, and newly-elected Captain Danny Gluck, of Woodmere.
