Three people who bought drugs and the man who sold it to them face charges after they were caught in an investigation, according to Nassau County Police.

Cops said Julio N. Peralta, 51, of Freeport, was caught selling drugs from his 1998 BMW in Freeport and Baldwin.

During the sting, Peralta sold drugs to Mohan Ramdahin, 46, of Freeport, Pedro J. Quiroz, 56, of Freeport, and Katiusca C. Polanco, 28, of Baldwin, detectives reported.

Nassau County Narcotics/Vice Bureau and Bureau of Special Operations CIRRT unit were involved in the sting.

All four were placed under arrest without incident. At the time, Peralta was found with about an ounce of cocaine and an undisclosed amount of cash in his car, police said.

Peralta was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and three counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.

Ramdahin and Quiroz were each charged with one count of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Polanco was given a desk ticket after being charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Peralta, Ramdahin, and Quiroz will be arraigned Tuesday at First District Court in Hempstead. Polanco will return to court March 10.

I wonder if they will be charged in the same manner as Philip Seymour Hoffman's drug dealer is being, because they should be. In my opinion every person who deals in drugs is a potential murderer and should be treated accordingly. And, Julio, really - only a 1998 BMW - I guess business has been slow.

Saw this yesterday on News12. The buyers were two men and a woman. Now let me guess. The woman is the one with the lesser charge right?
