SUV Flips into Hempstead Lake State Park

Firefighters and police respond to crash in Rockville Centre Thursday morning.

The driver of an SUV flipped his vehicle on Peninsula Boulevard in Rockville Centre Thursday morning, landing in a wooded area in Hempstead Lake State Park.

The Rockville Centre Fire Department, Rockville Centre Police and Nassau County Police responded to the crash, which was just south of Exit 19 on the Southern State Parkway.
